Gyllyngvase Beach
Surf Life Saving GB, the national charity of volunteer beach lifesavers, is back this year on Gyllyngvase Beach. Over 1000 Surf Lifesavers aged 7-70+ from around the coast will race on the beach and in the sea in the dynamic Life Saving Sport.
Come and witness Surf Life Saving Masters, Youth and Nipper members conquering the ocean for top spot.
On Sunday 15th show your support to Life Saving athletes vying for a place to represent their country in the Life Saving Rankings and don’t miss the excitement of the multi disciplined Legacy Oceanman series – the triathlon of the sea.
Be part of it! Come and test your Frisbee skills at the free Ultimate Frisbee coaching sessions/demonstrations on offer on the 9th August. Show off your football skills and see how quickly you can kick a ball when Plymouth Argyle FC bring their awesome Speed Cage to the Festival on the 12th August. Try your hand at Life Saving Sport and come and have a go at beach flags, or why not participate in the Trident Swim? This 800m swim is open to everyone.
